These access methods should adapt to the person&#8217;s diverse <strong>abilities<\/strong>, so that the use of the communicator is as <strong>functional<\/strong> as possible. <\/p>\n<p>Among the most used access methods, we could highlight: <strong>direct access<\/strong> by tapping the screen, using the <strong>mouse<\/strong> or <strong>keyboard<\/strong>, control by <strong>eye tracking<\/strong>, or <strong>scanning<\/strong> using <strong>switch(es)<\/strong> or <strong>keyboard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Asterics AAC<\/strong> considers and facilitates the use of all of them with a high degree of personalization, thanks to the different configuration options it offers.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-147900 aligncenter\" ><h2>INPUT OPTIONS<\/h2>\n<p>Access to the different input options, which we will explain in Asterics AAC, is done from the <strong>Home<\/strong> window, where the <strong>communicator is displayed tracking device installed and configured before using Asterics AAC.<\/p>\n<p>The person will interact with Asterics AAC by directing their gaze towards the element they want to communicate. In general, the person has to narrow down the options presented to him\/her until he\/she arrives at the element to be selected.
