l\u2019utilisation de la communication augment\u00e9e et alternative (CAA) est le dernier recours qui devrait \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 avec les personnes non verbales et que nous ne devrions y aller que lorsque la parole n\u2019appara\u00eet pas.<\/p>\n<p>Nous ne devons pas oublier que <strong>la communication et le langage sont essentiels pour l\u2019\u00eatre humain<\/strong> et nous aident \u00e0 exprimer nos besoins et nos d\u00e9sirs, \u00e0 interagir avec l\u2019environnement imm\u00e9diat, \u00e0 \u00e9tablir des relations avec d\u2019autres personnes et \u00e0 profiter du temps libre.<\/p>\n<p>Les obstacles \u00e0 <strong>la communication,<\/strong>dus \u00e0 l\u2019absence ou au manque d\u2019intelligibilit\u00e9, provoquent, dans la plupart des cas, l\u2019apparition <strong>de comportements perturbateurs<\/strong> (agressivit\u00e9, isolement, d\u00e9pendance \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard de tiers, perte d\u2019estime de soi, etc.) qui entravent l\u2019inclusion dans n\u2019importe quel domaine de la vie quotidienne.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-15801 aligncenter\" prestige dans ce domaine et qui ont travaill\u00e9 pendant de nombreuses ann\u00e9es dans la pratique, comme <strong>Carmen Basil,<\/strong>affirment que <strong>\u00ab la communication augment\u00e9e et alternative<\/strong> n\u2019est pas incompatible mais <strong>COMPL\u00c9MENTAIRE \u00e0 la r\u00e9habilitation de la parole naturelle<\/strong>,et peut \u00e9galement <strong>aider \u00e0 la r\u00e9ussite de celle-ci.<\/strong> Il ne faut donc pas h\u00e9siter \u00e0 l\u2019introduire d\u00e8s le plus jeune \u00e2ge, d\u00e8s que des difficult\u00e9s dans le d\u00e9veloppement du langage oral sont observ\u00e9es, ou peu de temps apr\u00e8s qu\u2019un accident ou une maladie ait caus\u00e9 sa d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration.  <strong>Il n\u2019y a aucune preuve que l\u2019utilisation de la CAA inhibe ou interf\u00e8re avec le d\u00e9veloppement ou la r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration de la parole.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-15800 d\u00e9taill\u00e9e, elles r\u00e9futent tous les faux mythes sur ce sujet. La CAA fournit une base solide pour le <strong>d\u00e9veloppement du langage parl\u00e9,<\/strong> la compr\u00e9hension du langage et la production.<\/li>\n<li><b>Non seulement la CAA n\u2019arr\u00eate pas l\u2019apparition de la parole, mais dans certains cas, elle la facilite m\u00eame.<\/b>  Un exemple clair est celui des enfants qui utilisent des signes gestuels pour commencer \u00e0 communiquer, et que lorsque l\u2019apparition de la parole commence, ils cessent d\u2019utiliser les signes. L\u2019enfant qui est capable de communiquer, par tous les moyens, est<strong> plus susceptible de participer plus activement \u00e0 la soci\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><b>Les enfants qui n\u2019utilisent pas de CAA, bien qu\u2019ils n\u2019aient pas de langage oral, sont exclus de certains niveaux d\u2019\u00e9ducation ou<\/b>programmes d\u2019intervention, car on suppose qu\u2019ils n\u2019ont pas les comp\u00e9tences cognitives appropri\u00e9es, sans avoir fait une \u00e9valuation exhaustive et sans offrir les outils de communication n\u00e9cessaires. Un exemple clair est celui des enfants ayant de graves difficult\u00e9s motrices, dont la capacit\u00e9 cognitive n\u2019a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9montr\u00e9e.<\/li>\n<li>Il y a quelques ann\u00e9es, le co\u00fbt <strong>des dispositifs AAC<\/strong> \u00e9tait l\u2019une des raisons pour lesquelles leur utilisation \u00e9tait exclue. L\u2019autre raison \u00e9tait que les appareils qui existaient sur le march\u00e9 n\u00e9cessitaient l\u2019utilisation de certaines comp\u00e9tences cognitives.<b>  Maintenant, ils sont beaucoup plus abordables et faciles \u00e0 utiliser pour l\u2019utilisateur.<\/b>  Les appareils sont un outil m\u00eame lorsque vous commencez \u00e0 utiliser la CAA et ne doivent jamais \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme une fin.  <strong>Avoir une \u00ab voix \u00bb d\u00e8s le plus jeune \u00e2ge peut faciliter son identit\u00e9,<\/strong>en plus de communiquer. \u00bb<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La communication et l\u2019accessibilit\u00e9 cognitive sont deux probl\u00e8mes tr\u00e8s graves qui touchent de nombreuses personnes, nous ne devrions donc pas \u00eatre guid\u00e9s par des mythes ou des opinions personnelles.
