Signaling of pedestrian crossings without traffic lights
The inclusion of visual supports through the use of ARASAAC pictograms in non-traffic light pedestrian crossings allows users of pictograms to help them cross and improve road safety. For this, a sequence painted on the sidewalks is used that anyone who approaches the pass must follow before crossing: STOP – LOOK – CAR / S STOPPED / S – PASS. This type of action is also part of the need to sensitize the rest of the population about the need and suitability of this type of action to improve the cognitive accessibility of urban public spaces.
