Project description:
During the period 2018-20, the CEE Sonderschule Rosenhain (Graz, Austria)and the CEE Alborada (Zaragoza, Spain)jointly participate in the Erasmus + Project “Show me what you do and how”,a project that will allow sharing experiences between both centers.
One of the objectives set out in this project is to know ARASAAC,its material resources and the necessary tools to signal the spaces of the center,develop and adapt content and activities with our pictograms related to communication and cognitive accessibility.
From the center they comment that “in the framework of our Erasmus + Project “Show me what you do and how”,in addition to the adaptation of activities, we have carried out the signage of our center with pictograms. So everyone knows that it hides behind the doors… Our students, parents, assistants and other people who visit the center are oriented in a faster way and find the people or spaces they are looking for sooner.”
From ARASAAC,we convey all our support to continue extending the use of our resources in Austria and, of course, to translate and generate new materials in German. For our part, delighted to reach more centers, people and users.
A very strong hug to the educational communities of both centers and we wish them that this new journey will remain in time beyond 2020!
