Project description:
The Recovery Centers for People with Physical Disabilities (CRMFs) belonging to the IMSERSO, are state-level centers that, based on an integrated approach to rehabilitation, provide a set of recovery services of medical-functional, psycho-social content and occupational vocational guidance and training for women withphysical or sensory disabilities of working age. These services are offered on a boarding and half-board basis, according to the personal circumstances and needs and interests of the users.
From the Recovery Center for People with Physical Disabilities (CRMF) of Lardero (La Rioja), different materials have been elaborated using the pictograms of ARASAAC:.
- PLAN OF COEXISTENCE OF THE CRMF OF LARDERO (Adaptation in Easy Reading and Pictograms). When a new user arrives at the Center, they are given a Coexistence Manual, where various aspects are collected that contribute to achieving a pleasant and comfortable stay for all users. In order for this Coexistence Plan to be well known by all, even by those users who, for different reasons, have greater difficulty in interpreting texts, we make an adaptation in easy reading and pictograms of ARASAAC.
- RECYCLING POSTERS. Three indicative posters of recycling paper and cardboard, recycling of containers and recycling of batteries with the pictograms. Next to the poster of recycling of containers, another poster was placed with text, in which it is specified, in easy reading and with the support of pictograms, the containers that are allowed to be thrown and those that can not be thrown in the yellow container. The posters were edited by the students of the Self-Publishing course, respecting the original format of the ARASAAC pictograms.
- SIGNAGE OF THE SPACES AND DIRECTORIES OF THE CENTER with pictograms of ARASAACto facilitate the movements of all people through the center, The signaling of the Center has as its main objective the location of a certain place, transmitting a clear and easily understandable communication. The choice of a clear and uncomplicated typography is very important so that the texts are fully legible in the signage. This catalog shows us, first of all, the directories that will indicate the different plants of the center and direct us through them. Secondly, this catalog shows us each and every one of the plates, which are placed in the dependencies of the center.
From ARASAAC, we support this great initiative of the Recovery Center for People with Physical Disabilities (CRMF) ofLardero and congratulate the people and institutions involved for facilitating communication and cognitive accessibility for all people, thus helping to improve their quality of life. Of course, our full support for this great work.
