Project description:
Thanks to the advice of NorTEA,the Association of People Affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder in the North of the Community of Madrid,the City Council of Acobendas,and the City Council of San Sebastián de los Reyesdevelop the project TEAccesible,in which they bet on a signage of the public buildings and shops of the two municipalities that facilitates sensory and cognitive accessibility by signaling public buildings and shops with a series of plaques with the text in high relief, Braille and pictograms of ARASAAC . In addition, these plates are resistant to adverse weather, solar radiation, possible vandalism, aging, humidity and chemical stains.
From ARASAAC,we support these initiatives and we will continue to lend all our support and collaboration to continue promoting cognitive accessibility and communication in all places and for all people

To carry out this initiative, pictograms from the Aragonese Portal for Augmentative and Alternative Communication ARASAAC, owned by the Government of Aragon, have been used.
