The City Council of Terrassa has been making an important effort for years to overcome all barriers and divisions that may affect people’s lives. The City Council understands accessibility in a global way, not only as the elimination of urban barriers, but also of communication and information, transport, building, attitudinal barriers, … The city council understands accessibility not only as a right for people with diverse abilities to participate with equal opportunities, but as a good for all citizens,who can benefit from a more accessible, friendly and welcoming city.

To do this, it has an optimal tool to achieve its objectives: the Terrassa Pact for Universal Accessibility, which brings together entities and municipal representatives in a city effort. It also has a specialized service to facilitate it: the Technical Office for the Promotion of Accessibility.

One of these initiatives is the adaptation to Easy Reading (LF) with the visual support of the pictograms of ARASAAC of the basic concepts of the funationamiento of the Municipal Plenary. and the summary of the agreements of each municipal plenary.

Undoubtedly, another great initiative that has the support and recognition from ARASAAC and our gratitude for the trust placed in our pictograms.
