Autismo Córdoba and the public transport company AUCORSA have installed posters with ARASAAC pictograms in different points of the buses throughout their fleet of vehicles to facilitate the autonomy and mobility of people with autism.

Miriam Muñoz Torres, educational psychologist and head of the Volunteering of the Autism Association Córdoba is the person in charge of carrying out this fantastic project, which arises from the daily use of the means of transport made by adult users with ASD of the association, so he proposed to the public transport company of Córdoba AUCORSA the possibility of implementing visual supports with pictograms on buses,which will help its users to improve their autonomy and safety in mobility.

The company not only responded affirmatively to the proposal, but installed the posters throughout the bus fleet, a great example to be followed by other companies.

This initiative is not only useful for people with ASD, but also for people with intellectual disabilities, young children or the elderly.
