Project description:
The accessible Guide with pictograms and Easy Reading (ER) to do the Camino de Santiago is part of the Camino de Santiago Space – “Buen camino” on the Google Arts & Culture platform for the dissemination of cultural content.
The specific channel of the Camino de Santiago was promoted by the Xunta de Galicia together with Google and was opened to the collaboration of all the communities that are part of the Jacobean Council (of which Aragón is part) as well as the associations of the road (through of the Spanish Federation) and the Catedral de Santiago Foundation.
The channel is made up of more than 100 virtual exhibitions, among which 3 stand out under the heading “An adventure for everyone. Accessible ways to fully enjoy the Camino de Santiago”.
One of these exhibits is a short guide to the Camino de Santiago made in easy reading with ARASAAC pictograms. It explains what the Camino de Santiago is, who Santiago was and where his tomb is, and some tips to make the journey and obtain the Compostela.
Any of the 100 exhibitions can be accessed from anywhere in the world and from a computer or mobile device.
A great initiative that has the support and recognition from ARASAACand our gratitude for the trust placed in our pictograms.
