NEW ENHANCEMENTS AND IMPLEMENTATIONS

Como ya hemos comentado a lo largo de este tutorial, Picto Selector es una herramienta dinámica y en continua actualización, por lo que iremos añadiendo en este apartado las nueva mejoras e implementaciones que se vayan realizando en la misma en el futuro.

Add to the pictograms the symbol of the plural and of the verb tenses (past and future).

In order to use these improvements, you must open Picto Selector and, from the Helpmenu, click on Check for updates to check if we have installed the latest version of the application.

One of the improvements suggested from ARASAAC to the author has been the possibility of including at the top of the pictogram the symbol + of the plural and the directional arrows to indicate the past and futureverb tense.

We can use these options in two ways: by double-clicking on the pictogram to bring up the Pictogram pop-up window or by right-clicking on the pictogram.

In both cases, the Add menu will appear with severaloptions: Nothing Plural, Past, Future and Personalized.

The Plural option allows you to add the + symbol in the upper right of the pictogram as you can see in these screenshots.

We can use the option to click twice on the pictogram so that the pop-up window appears from which we will select the Add option and, later, Plural so that the + symbol appears.

We can also use the option to place ourselves on the pictogram and press the right mouse button, in such a way that the context menu will appear from which we can select the Add option and, later, Plural.

Using either of the two ways, this way our board will be ready to print.

Once the symbols have been added and the board printed, this will be the final result, in which we can see the + symbol, representing the plural, in the upper right part of the pictograms.

Regarding verb tenses, the steps to access the arrow symbols are the same as in the case we have used for the plural.

We can press the right mouse button to add the pass arrow on the leftside of the pictogram or the future arrow on the right side.

Or we can double click on the pictogram and at the bottom of the pop-up window, the option to Add… Past o Future.

Once printed, this is the final result in which we can see the + symbol, representing the plural, in the upper right part of the pictograms.

In case you want to use these pictograms with the + symbol or with the arrows of the verb tenses in your documents or presentations, you have to use the option of Copy to Word or Copy to clipboard (Chapter 9of this tutorial).

Once copied in these two office tools, you can press the right mouse button and use the Save as image option to use them in AraWord.
