During the year 2018, the
State Center for Personal Autonomy and Technical Aids (CEAPAT),
in collaboration with
ARASAAC,
has carried out the project «Your opinion CuentAA» with the aim of knowing the current situation of implementation and use of Augmentative Communication systems – Alternative with support products, in order to design strategies and actions that improve communication with people who have limitations in this activity, and facilitate their social participation in equality.

The project, carried out during 2018, consisted of the publication of several questionnaires, aimed at professionals and relatives of people with difficulties in communication.

During 2019, the study of the information obtained was carried out, which has also served as the basis for the preparation of the documents of the Series « Your opinionCuentAA»:

The first of these is a document that collects the “Ten key ideas in augmentative-alternative communication with support products”.

The second of them is a set of ten information sheets,with the aim of being able to solve the main doubts about Augmentative Communication – Alternative with support products.
